Speakeasy, Die Softly: Immersive Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Carmine's
The Dinner Theater Show Everyone’s Dying To Attend… At Carmine’s in Times Square!
Speakeasy, Die Softly is the most elaborate comedic immersive murder mystery ever performed by The Murder Mystery Company. During this killer show, guests will enjoy a three-course, family-style Italian feast in the newly renovated Sinatra Room at the legendary Carmine’s in Times Square.

Come on into Lou Zar’s and shimmy to the live music of the club’s famous songstress, Lucy Morals, and her accompanist, Keys Yacar, or, if you prefer, play some casino games and win big money you can blow on “soda pop.” Unfortunately, the fun can’t last all night– the feds have been sniffing around! We need your help to flip the speakeasy into a “legitimate Italian restaurant” before the police raid the place. However, even amidst all these games, dames, and dons, someone had murder on their mind! You and your table team must help the detective solve…

We need your help to flip the speakeasy into a “legitimate Italian restaurant” before the police raid the place. Written by Edward Gibbons-Brown and directed by Jasmine Jade Binder, the production stars Bonnie Lawrence, Edward Gibbons-Brown, and Jasmine Jade Binder.
Presented in a double bill with Meny Beriro’s psychological thril…

James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece... and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.
The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. On the Watchlist with Jay Servedio: A Live Late Night Comedy Show
On The Watchlist with Jay Servedio is a brand-new live late-night comedy series that blends biting satire with investigative curiosity. Inspired by The Daily Show but rooted in its own chaotic, absurdist voice, On The Watchlist dives headfirst into the week’s headlines, media manipulation, and political theater.
Each episode features Jay’s incisive monologue, live sketches, field segments, and character interviews with comedians portraying public figures: plus conversations with real journalists, writers, and cultural critics. Smart, silly, and unapologetically weird, On The Watchlist is equal parts comedy show, social autopsy, and media exorcism. Join us for our exploration into the Age of Misinformation.

The year is 1927, a time of flappers, mobsters, bootlegging, and countless seedy speakeasies.

The year is 1927, a time of flappers, mobsters, bootlegging, and countless seedy speakeasies.

Monica Ramey at Birdland
"Now that the trend of aging rockers cutting albums of show tunes and standards seems thankfully to have run its course, we're back to vocalists with a real feel for and understanding of the jazz tradition doing them justice. Nashville's Monica Ramey is a shining example. Her excellent release Make Someone Happy offers resourceful, soaring and engaging interpretations of material from The Great American Songbook." -Ron Wynn, Nashville Scene
Such acclaim has become a common occurrence for Monica Ramey, a Midwest talent, joined by artists like Beegie Adair, Anthony Wilson, Clifton Davis, Jeff Steinberg, Annie Sellick, Roger Spencer, Rod McGaha, Jeff Coffin, and Lori Mechem, all of whom have expressed admiration for her work.
Hailing from Francesville, one of Indiana's quaintest towns, Monica grew up performing on stage alongside her mother in a high school show choir, singing and dancing. Her passion for music blossomed from a young age, culminating in a move to Nashville after earning her college degre…

Every street has a story.
Walking the City, I seem drawn to certain streets.
Each street has a past. Memories. A history. Its own history commingling with my history to the street.
I return to favorite streets where I somehow feel at home. A street can anchor you, place you, remind you,
make you feel. It can speak to you. Every street has a soul.
There is a mood to a street. The sky, the weather interacting with a street, an emotional dance, an unveiling.
Sometimes dramatic, but often quiet and subtle, the streets I paint demand I notice them.
I feel this way about New York City more than any other place. The curve of that street, the remembered
buildings still standing to mark my own history to them. Within my paintings the…

Into the Woods
James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece... and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.
The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

The Museum of Modern Art Presents: Andrei Ujică
The Museum of Modern Art announces a film series, Andrei Ujică from September 11–16, 2026.
This is the first complete North American retrospective of Romanian filmmaker Andrei Ujică one of contemporary cinema's finest film essayists. Whether in confronting his own nation's dark history or in evoking his first magical encounters with the Beatles and World Cup football, Ujică—who will be present to introduce many of the screenings—interrogates the politics of image making and history writing, and the ways in which the popular culture of songs, sports, and movies insinuates itself into our collective unconscious, defines our national identities, and shapes our memories, desires, and apprehension of ourselves and the world around us.
Highlights include the filmmaker presenting a work-in-progress excerpt from his latest film, Matches and Days, a meditation on how World Cup football has shaped the rhythms of his life and those of his son and grandchildren. Ujică also presents his most recent feature, TWST/Thing…

When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
