On view from January 8th through March 1st with an artist opening reception on Thursday, January 8th from 6–8 p.m.
RSVP at info@fremingallery.com

Speakeasy, Die Softly is the most elaborate comedic immersive murder mystery ever performed by The Murder Mystery Company. During this killer show, guests will enjoy a three-course, family-style Italian feast in the newly renovated Sinatra Room at the legendary Carmine’s in Times Square.
The year is 1927, a time of flappers, mobsters, bootlegging, and countless seedy speakeasies. Come on into Lou Zar’s and shimmy to the live music of the club’s famous songstress, Lucy Morals, and her accompanist, Keys Yacar, or, if you prefer, play some casino games and win big money you can blow on “soda pop.” Unfortunately, the fun can’t last all night– the feds have been sniffing around! We need your help to flip the speakeasy into a “legitimate Italian restaurant” before the police raid the place. However, even amidst all these games, dames, and dons, someone had murder on their mind! You and your table team must help the detective solve the crim…

Annual MLK Shabbat Service at Historic Temple
On January 16 at 7 p.m. Dr. Bill Tinglin will speak at Temple Beth-El of Great Neck’s annual MLK Shabbat service. This service will commemorate Dr. King's historic civil rights speech presented at Temple Beth-El in the 1960s. As the reverend’s important words continue to resonate with the synagogue, the community and the country, Temple Beth-El is honored to once again welcome the entire community to memorialize Dr. King and continue sharing his message—which is as relevant today as it was many years ago. This event is free and is open to the Long Island community. Temple Beth-El is located at 5 Old Mill Road in Great Neck.
I'm hoping you will find value in publicizing this very special event. In the past, speakers such as Attorney General Letitia James, Governor Kathy Hochul and others have spoken at this important event. I'm happy to provide additional information or discuss how the station can help share this information with the community.

Speakeasy, Die Softly: Immersive Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Carmine's
The Dinner Show Everyone’s Dying To Attend… At Carmine’s in Times Square!

Speakeasy, Die Softly: Immersive Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Carmine's
The Dinner Show Everyone’s Dying To Attend… At Carmine’s in Times Square!

Hank Azaria and the EZ Street Band- A Springsteen Celebration
Hank Azaria & The EZ Street Band is a labor of love for Azaria, a life-long Springsteen fan. “I’ve never worked harder preparing for any role than I did in perfecting a singing vocal impression of Bruce,” said Azaria.
Azaria is an acclaimed actor and voice artist, perhaps best known for his decades of work on The Simpsons. Now he’s using his voice in a new and different way, and having a blast entertaining people in a live, concert setting. Azaria spent months creating an impression of Bruce’s distinctive speaking cadence and singing ‘voice’ to conceive the tribute show. As Azaria told Rolling Stone, “I think of it as a theatrical performance,” he says. “I’m staying in character as Bruce even though I’m telling stories about myself. It’s a performance piece, but I’m not a Bruce impersonator.” The tribute performance itself is a joyful, full-tilt rock ’n roll event, and Azaria’s physicality and flair are a true homage to Bruce. Azaria channels many familiar components of Bruce Springsteen’s iconography: intima…

A TheaterWorks USA production
“Cows that type? Hens on strike! Whoever heard of such a thing!” Farmer Brown cries.
When his granddaughter Jenny comes for a visit, Farmer Brown declares the farm a tech-free zone. He takes her laptop in the cold barn with the shivering cows who use her computer to type messages requesting blankets.
“No way,” replies Farmer Brown. “No blankets!”
So the cows go on strike, and the chickens join them in solidarity. No blankets? No milk! No eggs!
Will Farmer Brown give in to the animals’ demands? Will Jenny get her computer back? Find out in a hilariously moving musical about negotiation and compromise, based on the Caldecott Honor Book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin.

In 2023 Dedication had a month-long run in London. The show was nominated for an Off West End Theatre award for best performance piece. It has also been presented in Brussels, Berlin, and various cities in the United States. More recently, Dedication was performed for world dignitaries at the United Nations headquarters. Tenement Talk: Preparing for the Immigration Journey
At the Tenement Museum, we think a lot about how immigrants created new homes for themselves in the United States. But we don’t often discuss what people did before they immigrated, and what they took on the journey. In their new book, Rituals of Migration: Italians and Irish on the Move, historians Kevin Kenny and Maddalena Marinari explore Irish and Italian traditions when leaving their homeland and arriving in the United States. What objects did people bring for protection? How did those left behind mark the occasion of a loved one leaving for the United States? What did people do if they returned to their home country? Join Kenny and Marinari for a panel conversation on the book and its importance for immigration history.
For the in-person program, ticket price includes Kenny and Marinari’s book, Rituals of Migration. After the conversation, enjoy mini-tours, a reception, and a special 25% off your purchase in the Tenement Museum Shop for the evening.

CARMINA BURANA featuring Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale & Litha Symphony
Ring in 2026 and the Lunar New Year as the Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale joins forces with Manhattan’s Litha Symphony for a gala winter concert. We will pair this work with China’s grandest concert piece, the Yellow River Piano Concerto, to usher in the upcoming Year of the Horse. Speakeasy, Die Softly: Immersive Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Carmine's
The Dinner Show Everyone’s Dying To Attend… At Carmine’s in Times Square!
