Event Summary: Grammy-winning ensemble Apollo’s Fire is known for its folk programs exploring history and legends. The expert troupe plays on period instruments, but with the freedom of folk players. In their new program, Echoes of Ireland, seven musicians follow the trail of Turlough O’Carolan – the beloved, blind harper who traveled the roads of 18th-century Ireland, playing at weddings and funerals.
