Pacific Opera Project Presents: "Cinderella Story"

POP’s iconic mashup opera “Cinderella Story” is coming to Altadena! This family-friendly, one-hour comedy combines music from "La Cenerentola, "Cendrillion," and the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. Tending to Care: An Adult Somatic Workshop

On the eve of the one year anniversary of the fires, we invite you to join fellow Altadenian Kiki Williams to move, shake, and breathe in community. In this 90-minute somatic workshop, we will come together through a series of practices to slow down, find rest from the movement of this past year, and tap into our own intrinsic capacity to care for ourselves and each other. Teen Volunteer Program Orientation

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to volunteer at the Altadena Library! As a teen volunteer, you can earn service hours by assisting with various library programs and tasks that suit your schedule & interests. After completing the teen volunteer application, come on by the Teen Space on every third Thursday, 5-5:30pm, for orientation. Juicy Little Scraps Art Scrapbooking Program

Juicy Little Scraps is an ongoing art scrapbooking program dedicated to youth and families who lost their photo albums and cherished memories in the Altadena Eaton Fire. Our goal is to help them rebuild their photo collections through scrapbooking, arts, and community support. Families can create new memory books with free scrapbooks, photo albums, and supplies or simply pick up preprinted photos and materials to take home. Registration is required. Once registered, we will send you an email to gather digital files that we will pre-print for the program. We can also print out limited amounts of photographs on the day as well. As a teen volunteer, you can earn service hours by assisting with various library programs and tasks that suit your schedule & interests. Teen Volunteer Program Orientation

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to volunteer at the Altadena Library! As a teen volunteer, you can earn service hours by assisting with various library programs and tasks that suit your schedule & interests. After completing the teen volunteer application, come on by the specified location every third Thursday, 5-5:30pm, for orientation. We will go over the Volunteer Handbook, discuss different volunteer opportunities, and you will get the opportunity to ask our Teen Librarian any other questions.
