Performative Gender Contest

IVC Student Life Pride Scholars presents Performative Gender, an interactive pop-up event that explores how gender is “performed” in everyday life. Inspired by the recent social media trend, students are invited to think critically and playfully about gender norms, aesthetics, and expectations, and how these show up in our clothes, habits, and identities. Drop by the SSC Quad on December 3, from 1 to 3 pm to take part in a low-stakes performative gender contest, conversations, and reflections that center inclusivity, curiosity, and fun. All students, staff, and faculty are welcome.
