Sierra College Theatre Arts Department will hold auditions Monday, August 25 and Tuesyday, August 26, 2025, from 3:30pm to 6:30pm for its Fall musical, Once Upon a Mattress based on the book by Jay Thompson, Marshall Barer, and Dean Fuller, music by Mary Rodgers and lyrics by Marshall Barer.

STORY: Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride. Sierra College Theatre Arts Department will hold auditions Monday, August 25 and Tuesyday, August 26, 2025, from 3:30pm to 6:30pm for its Fall musical, Once Upon a Mattress based on the book by Jay Thompson, Marshall Barer, and Dean Fuller, music by Mary Rodgers and lyrics by Marshall Barer.
The production will be directed by Scott Adams with musical direction by Kim Osteen-Petreshock, orchestra coordination by Greg McLaughlin, and choreography by Pamela Lourentzos.
STORY: Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride.
