Please consider joining Penn Family Medicine & HUP Cedar Community Health as we host a Free Vaccine Clinic at Bethany Baptist Church. We are seeking volunteers to assist with general event help and 5-7 outpatient nurse volunteers (preferably with charting experience) to administer vaccines to adults and children. To volunteer to administer vaccines, you must be credentialed in the Penn Medicine health system as an RN, CRNP, PA, pharmacist or physician. When registering, please confirm that you are credentialed in the Penn Medicine health system to administer vaccines. You can choose to volunteer for the entire event or in shifts:
Shift 1: 11:45am-1:15pm
Shift 2: 1:15pm-3pm
Your support will help provide free, accessible vaccinations to community members and families in West Philadelphia.

Great Family Gathering
Every year Community of Compassion CDC coordinates a Thanksgiving Feast for over 5,000 people living in shelters in Philadelphia. Please consider volunteering! Volunteers are needed to help fix to-go boxes. This event is great for groups. We ask that volunteers be 14 years old and older.

Volunteers are needed to prepare items for Penn's special neighbors through four different Helping Hands Projects at Houston Hall:
Sock Project Volunteers will stuff crew socks with personal items. The filled socks will be donated to area shelters.
Pocketbook Full of Toiletries Volunteers will create constructed bags from t-shirts and fill them with personal items. The filled pocketbooks will be donated to area shelters.
Backpack Project Volunteers will fill backpacks with essential items such as deodorant, sanitary items, and other items that historically can stop children from attending school on a regular basis.
Love Letters Everyone deserves messages of love, and this project’s mission is to make that a reality. Volunteers will create artistic letters sharing a joke, poem, or inspirational quote. Letters will be distributed to residents of a local nursing home and/or shelter, underscoring the fact that EVERYONE is celebrated!
