"You Matter" Wellness Event
This community-focused event is dedicated to promoting mental wellness, increasing awareness, and connecting individuals and families with critical resources. A key focus of this year's event is crisis mental health support, including recognizing urgent warning signs, responding effectively, and accessing immediate care.
Event Purpose: Given Penn Medicine's leadership in crisis intervention, emergency psychiatry, and acute behavioral health services, we would be honored to have your team participate by: * Hosting a crisis care resource and information table *Providing guidance on recognizing and responding to mental health emergencies *Sharing information about crisis response services, emergency care access, and hotlines *Educating attendees on how to seek immediate help for themselves or others in distress Your expertise in delivering… # of Attendees Expected: 100. OURfest National Coming Out Day Festival
Join us for OURfest – The National Coming Out Day Festival in Philadelphia’s Gayborhood on Sunday, Oct. 11! Penn Medicine celebrates LGBTQIA+ community health at OURfest, and we need your support to make this event a success. We will be providing mpox, flu, and covid vaccines, blood pressure screening, and promoting LGBTQ+ healthcare information and access. Sign up here by Wed. Health Harvest at HUP Cedar
Volunteer at Health Harvest on October 18!
Join Penn Medicine and HUP Cedar for a fun, family-friendly community event offering flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, health resources, education, food, music, and activities for children. We are seeking volunteers to not only administer vaccines to adults and children, but also to assist with event set-up and breakdown. You must be an RN, CRNP, PA, pharmacist or physician and credentialed in the Penn Medicine health system to administer vaccines to help.
This is a great opportunity to support community health, connect with neighbors, and make a meaningful impact. We hope you'll consider lending a hand!
