SMU Female Founders Breakfast Connect: Co-shaping Our Peer Mentoring Initiative
What if mentorship wasn’t one-way but a shared exchange among women who truly understand the founder journey? We are piloting a peer mentoring space exclusively for SMU Alumni Women Founders, and we would love to invite you to help shape it from the very beginning. The idea is simple: give to receive.
You contribute your expertise and time as a peer mentor, and in return, receive mentorship from fellow alumni women founders within the initiative. The SMU Alumni Founders Group Exco will facilitate thoughtful matches, likely through meaningful conversations in your own time. ☕️🥐 Co-Create With Us, As a next step, The SMU Alumni Founders Group Exco is hosting a co-creation and connection breakfast session where your voice will directly influence how this peer mentoring space is designed and run. Note: This is a curated session capped at 15 participants, to ensure a productive conversation.

MITB MAsterclass: AI-Driven Security Analysis
Can cybersecurity professionals still keep up with today’s evolving threat landscape?
Cybersecurity is entering a new era where human expertise alone can no longer keep pace with the volume, velocity, and sophistication of modern threats. Traditional tools and manual analysis methods are increasingly inadequate in complex systems where new vulnerabilities and attack vectors emerge daily.
At the same time, rapid advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), are reshaping how security professionals detect, analyse, and respond to vulnerabilities.
In this Masterclass, Dr Shar will take participants through how AI enables just-in-time vulnerability detection in modern software systems. Drawing on real-world case studies, interactive walkthroughs, and cutting-edge tools from a SCIS research project developed in collaboration with GovTech, the session will explore how AI is being integrated into vulnerability analysis and red-team workflows today.
