Accountability for Thesis/Dissertation Writing Support Group

GradPathways Wellness and Life Balance Could You Use Some Extra Support with Your Dissertation or Thesis Writing Process? This group provides a supportive space for graduate students to explore tools to overcome obstacles, such as goal setting, procrastination, social isolation, and time management. Please note that this workshop does not focus on the technical aspects of writing. The workshop is to help participants stay on track during their writing process. Workshop Leader: Dr. Bai-Yin Chen is a psychologist specializing in college mental health and graduate student concerns and issues. Info Session: Innovation Institute for Food and Health Innovator Fellowship

The Innovator Fellowship provides an opportunity for PhDs or Postdocs to work with IIFH's venture capital partners in an immersive, hands-on experience in a food and health investment environment. GradPathways Wellness and Life Balance The goal of the monthly Graduate Diversity Community Dinners is to engage in social interactions in an effort to make UC Davis feel more like home. Specifically, the environment is relaxed and inviting and meant to be an opportunity for students to rejuvenate and build lasting connections. Join the virtual STEM and Business Fair on Wednesday, September 7 — where you can meet representatives from over 100 companies who are hiring a wide variety of internship and full-time positions available immediately and into Summer 2023. There are two types of virtual fair sessions: Group sessions: During these sessions, you’ll join other students to meet recruiters and other employees at the organization. You’ll learn about job and internship opportunities, company culture, and more. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask your own questions. One-on-one session: This is an opportunity to chat directly with a recruiter or employee ambassador about jobs and internships.
