Course Objectives for this Psychiatry Grand Rounds presentation include: Describe recent epidemiologic trends in boys’ academic achievement and mental health outcomes, including disparities in educational attainment, disciplinary action, and mood disorder diagnosis , Differentiate internalizing versus externalizing presentations of mood disorders in boys, and identify how current diagnostic frameworks and assessment tools may contribute to under-recognition , Formulate practice-level interventions to reduce diagnostic bias and improve early identification of mood disorders in boys across educational and healthcare settings, In Person Location:
