Almost every workplace has a diverse blend of personalities and preferences, so it is to be expected that there will be some disputes and conflicts. However, not all conflict is bad. Supporting Your Child's Mental Health

Children’s mental health plays a critical role in shaping social, emotional and cognitive development. Clinically diagnosable mental health problems affect 20 percent of children and young people aged 5-16 years. A further 15 percent have problems that put them at increasing risk of developing mental health problems in the future. Yet two-thirds of children and adolescents who experience mental health problems have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age. It can be challenging for a child’s caretakers to recognize signs of mental health concerns and know how to respond accordingly. This session will give participants a better understanding of children’s mental health and practical tools to respond when mental health concerns arise.
