2026 ASB Trip: Minidoka

Spend a transformative week serving, learning, and reflecting through the 2026 Alternative Service Break (ASB) Trip to Minidoka. This immersive experience takes students to Minidoka National Historic Site, Craters of the Moon, and other locations throughout southern Idaho to engage in meaningful service while exploring history, land stewardship, and social justice.
Participants will learn about the Japanese American internment camps of World War II, connect with land trusts and community partners in Idaho, and build lasting relationships with students across the Vandal community. Through hands-on service and guided reflection, ASB trips challenge students to think critically, serve with purpose, and grow beyond their comfort zones.

Recreation and Wellbeing is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a Blood Drive at the Student Recreation Center. Roll up your sleeve and help save lives this summer. Sign up for a slot online. If spots are full, register for a different blood drive in town or walk-in on the day of the blood drive.
