Beta Mental Health Awareness: To the Max
One thing that is very important to our chapter is mental health. This week is dedicated to raising awareness and money for mental health and suicide prevention. We would also like to dedicate this week to Max Fulfer and other Beta Theta Pi fraternity members who have lost the battle with their mental health. Annually around 1,100 college students commit suicide. It is the 2nd most common cause of death for college students and the 4th leading cause of death in America and one that can be prevented. The money we raise will go to the Idaho Crisis and Suicide Hotline. Using the 988 hotline number to text or call has been found to reduce the severity of the situation in 98% of the cases. We as a fraternity want to donate to a cause that is actively preventing suicide and bring awareness to their cause to prevent further deaths.

Introduction to Building Autonomous AI Agents (Tech Talk)
This workshop will be held in the Data Hub (Library room 107) and live via Zoom.
In this talk, we’ll dissect agentic system architectures from tool-calling interfaces and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to direct computer-control integrations and multi-agent coordination patterns. We'll explore how existing agentic frameworks handle orchestration, communication protocols, human-in-the-loop safety, evaluation metrics, failure modes and security considerations. We’ll examine agentic models like Kimi K2, specifically trained for optimized task orchestration and how they slot into broader pipelines. Finally, we’ll cover practical approaches to monitoring, logging, resource management and scaling multi-agent deployments in production.
Registration is required. There are 16 in-person seats available. There are 295 online seats available.
University Location: Data Hub (107) - Library - Main Campus.
