This year's forum will explore how rangeland stewards are reaching to the future and using new ideas and new technologies to address challenges. How can the next generation of leaders thrive and support a vibrant future for Idaho's rangelands?
Come join us for a combination of interactive sessions and hands-on learning and together we will peer over the horizon at the future of rangelands!
The symposium will take place on Oct. 2, 2025 followed by a field tour on Oct. 3, 2025.

Forestry Days
Forestry Days is an opportunity for K-12 students, UI students, faculty and staff, and members of the public to learn about forests, forestry and forest products in Idaho on the UI Experimental Forest. For participating high schools, the event will feature degree- and non-degree workforce opportunities in forestry and beyond with logging, fuels reduction and other hands-on demonstrations. The field day and tours also highlight current forestry, fire and wildlife research and teaching on the UIEF.
