U.S.-China-Taiwan Relations, Opportunities and Challenges: A talk and conversation with U.S. Diplomat Erik Black

U.S. Diplomat Eric Black will discuss the current state and possible futures of U.S.-China-Taiwan relations and its impact on U.S. state-level politics and business. Mr. Black currently serves in both the Office of China Coordination and the Office of Taiwan Coordination at the State Department. Previously, he served two tours at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, and has also been posted to Ukraine, Afghanistan, Qatar, Czechoslovakia, and Nicaragua. Mr. Black's talk is one in the Ambassador Philip C. Habib Asian Affairs Speakers Series and is co-sponsored by the Habib Institute for Asian Studies and the Idaho Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. The talk is free and open to the public and in Room 221, the Don Burnett Room, in the University of Idaho College of Law Boise Campus (501 W. Front St.).
