Immigration Updates: Employee Impact Training

This online training will provide the campus community with a practical overview of recent immigration updates and how these changes affect international students and campus operations. Participants will learn about impacts on advising, enrollment, employment, student services, compliance and campus communications, along with strategies for responding to student questions and supporting students effectively. This session is recommended for anyone working with international students, such as:Faculty advisors, Managers and supervisors of international students, Professional advisors, Financial aid and Registrar staff, Human Resources teams, IT, website and communications staff, Student support and wellness professionals, The training will help the campus community understand immigration regulations for international students and coordinate accurate, student-centered responses across the institution. Immigration Updates for International Students and Scholars Town Hall

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has announced changes to the immigration regulations affecting Duration of Status (D/S) for F and J visa holders. The International Programs Office is reviewing these changes and evaluating their impact on our campus community.  This Town Hall session will be hosted for all international students and scholars to provide an overview of the new immigration regulations and be a space for open questions. Coats for New Vandals

The International Programs Office and The Center are partnering on an initiative to provide winter clothing for new international students and scholars. We hope that you can benefit from this program and are warm enough for the winter. All students who sign up will receive two tickets to select two items of winter clothing. We hope that you only select the items you will use. In the future, please think about future incoming Vandals and donate any items you won't need to give back to this program. Please make sure to RSVP to attend. This event is run on a first-come, first-served basis, so please make sure you arrive early.
