FAO Schwarz Fellowship in Social Impact Info Session

Career Services The FAO Schwarz Fellowship is a selective national fellowship program for graduating college seniors interested in social impact careers. The Fellowship positions are paid, two-year experiences working at carefully selected nonprofit organizations in Boston, New York City and Philadelphia. These roles combine direct service with strategic projects that give Fellows a chance to deepen their understanding of social issues, gain leadership experience in managing program initiatives and explore how nonprofits work to respond to community needs and create lasting change. Between five to seven new Fellowship positions are typically available each year. In addition to compensation and benefits, fellowships include professional development, two four-day retreats each year, mentoring and cohort experiences. Finding a roommate When filling out the housing application, you’ll be able to complete a personal profile. You’ll answer questions about study habits, social preferences and sleep patterns. During room selection, you can view other applicants profiles and compare answers to help find a compatible roommate. Creating a roommate group During the first phase of the housing application, you can browse profiles of other applicants and connect with potential roommates. Depending on the residence hall, you can form roommate groups of 2–5 people, making the room selection process smoother. Choosing the same room If you have not created a roommate group during phase one, you can still choose to live with another student by selecting the same available space when room selection opens.
