Kids under 12 years old can join in on the frighteningly fun climbing and costume competition in the climbing center! Climbers work with their guardian to fill out the Halloween bingo card while climbers make their way around the climbing center. Fill out the bingo, get a Halloween treat!

Open to students, employees and the community, this one-day event is the perfect chance to gear up for your next adventure. Looking to purchase a student pass to Lookout Mountain? Stop by, take your photo and pick up your pass for the 2026-27 season at the Sale and Swap!
Seller setup starts at 5 p.m. The cost to sell is $10.
Only cash or checks are accepted for entry fees. Purchases of equipment are between the buyer and seller.Entry from 6-6:30 p.m. is $5, Entry from 6:30-7 p.m. is $1, Entry from 7-8 p.m. is FREE, *U of I students and children under 12 are always free.

Learn to climb using your own rope! This two-hour clinic teaches you how to use quickdraws and other lead climbing gear, lead belay with a manual braking device, catch and take falls safely and communicate effectively with your climbing partner.
Intro to Lead Climbing Clinics are limited to 12 participants per session.
