Responding to Disclosures of Interpersonal Violence

The Violence Prevention Programs Office will lead attendees through a training session on handling disclosures of interpersonal violence from students. Participants will learn about obligations as a university employee, increase knowledge of barriers students may face regarding these issues, knowledge of resources and referrals, and after-the-fact self care. Responding to Disclosures of Interpersonal Violence training is part of the Summer ConnectWell Designated Series, and one of the elective trainings to expand your helping skills and become ConnectWell Designated.
