Narcan and Opioid Response Training

Knowing how to prevent or respond to an opioid overdose can make all the difference. In this workshop, participants will learn how to reduce opioid-related risks using harm reduction approaches, recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose and respond to an opioid emergency by administering Narcan. QPR Suicide Prevention Training

QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer. This is an evidenced-based training program to help faculty, staff and students respond to someone in a mental health crisis who may be thinking about suicide. Participants will learn how to recognize the warning signs of suicide and will be able to offer hope, get help and save a life. Responding to Disclosures of Interpersonal Violence

The Violence Prevention Programs Office will lead attendees through a training session on handling disclosures of interpersonal violence from students.
