Alpine Architecture Summer Studio Information session
Join professors Andrea Alberto Dutto and Leonie Buntie for this summer studio offering students an immersive architectural field trip from Marseille, France, to Turin, Italy, traveling through Mediterranean urban centers and remote Alpine villages. Inspired by the principles of “strollology”—the study of learning through direct, on-site experiences—this journey provides a unique context for understanding how architecture and cultural heritage demonstrate resilience in response to geographic, climatic, and social constraints. Through a vertical design studio and a seminar in collaboration with local universities and firms, participants will engage deeply with architectural knowledge, with a special emphasis on materiality. This experience will expand students' architectural toolkits and broaden their cultural and professional skills, preparing them to become impactful contributors within a global context.
Time Zone: Pacific. University Location: The Red Room - AAS 215 - Art & Architecture South - Main Campus. Campus Location: Moscow.
Tuesday, May 13, 2025 – Saturday, July 5, 2025.
