Take Back the Night and Katy Benoit Campus Safety Forum
As part of the Katy Benoit Campus Safety Month, the Violence Prevention and Education Office is hosting Take Back the Night — an event to spread awareness of interpersonal violence on campus and to show support for those affected by it. Our incredible keynote speaker, Marissa Cohen, will share her personal experience in the realm of violence prevention and shed light on what individuals can do to make campus a safer place for all. Join us for this event at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 in Ag Sci 106.

Virtual Green Dot for Employees
We invite employees across U of I campus and centers to join us for a virtual Green Dot Overview from 1 - 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15.
The Green Dot Overview for employees introduces the basic elements of Green Dot, focusing specifically on the vital role university employees play in establishing and reinforcing campus culture. This virtual workshop will be interactive and action-oriented.

The "Responding to Disclosures of Interpersonal Violence" training is a 90-minute session that focuses on handling disclosures of interpersonal violence from students.
