Inspired by traditional Norwegian designs, this class offers great practice for weaving interlock joins, navigating a grid chart pattern, and keeping your sides nice and straight while working with colorful, hand-dyed yarns from the instructor's sheep. Learn to knit two socks at once with the seamless knitting technique known as magic loop method. This class will use the Basic Ribbed Sock pattern found in the book Custom Socks by Kate Atherley. You will learn how to cast on both socks toe-up, take measurements for better fitting socks, and tackle Judy's magic cast on and a stretchy bind off. In order to take the leap, students must be able to knit, purl, increase and decrease.
