Early Bird Walk

Outdoor Recreation Events The first rays of sunshine wash the canyon walls with brilliant color on this 3-4 mile walk on the paved path.  Enjoy your breakfast after the walk.  This walk is offered seasonally. Daily Guided Hike: Endurance Level

Outdoor Recreation Events Guests are required to carry water and wear a close toed athletic shoe on hikes. Sure to test the endurance of even the fittest, this hike is intense and fast paced with infrequent breaks. Endurance Hikers must have the confidence to move quickly over uneven terrain in an unfamiliar landscape, navigate wilderness trails, steep slick rock, desert washes and rocky terrain. Distance varies between 5 - 8 miles with elevation change up to 1500 feet. Please check with the Outdoor Recreation staff before undertaking this hike if you are unsure.​ Note that meeting time and location for Endurance Hikes differ from the Explorer and Challenge hikes. Canyoneering

Outdoor Recreation Events A combination of challenge level hiking, climbing, scrambling and rappelling. No experience required, just teamwork and a sense of adventure. Daily Guided Hike: Explorer or Challenge Level

Outdoor Recreation Events Guests are required to carry water and wear a close toed athletic shoe on either level of hiking. Two levels are offered daily: Explorer Hike: An excellent entry level hike. We take the time to admire the scenery with stops for photos and guide interpretations. This hike is done at a more relaxed pace over a variety of uneven desert terrain. Distances vary between 3-5 miles with an average elevation change of 350 feet. Challenge Hike: These hikes are for experienced hikers.  We hike at an aerobic pace designed to challenge confident hikers.  Trails vary and can include uneven desert terrain, rock scrambling, exposure, slick rock areas, sandy washes and basalt.  Be prepared to hike up to 5 miles with elevation changes.   A great attitude and commitment to the group experience are essential for an exceptional adventure. Note: Check-in 10-15 minutes before departure time. Hikes leave promptly at 8am. À la carte price is $95 per hike. Snow Canyon E-bike Tour

Lava Tubes

Outdoor Recreation Events Caverns in the middle of Snow Canyon?  Yes!  Discover the underground world with the help of your guide and your headlamp.  This hike is 2 miles round trip with varying terrain of sandstone, loose sand, and crumbled rock. It is of a difficulty similar to the Explorer hikes offered at Red Mountain. Kayenta Bike Ride

Pound Puppy Walk

Navigating the Nervous System and Building your own Resilience Toolkit

Daily Guided Hike: Explorer or Challenge Level

Outdoor Recreation Events Guests are required to carry water and wear a close toed athletic shoe on either level of hiking. Two levels are offered daily: Explorer Hike: An excellent entry level hike. We take the time to admire the scenery with stops for photos and guide interpretations. This hike is done at a more relaxed pace over a variety of uneven desert terrain. Distances vary between 3-5 miles with an average elevation change of 350 feet. Daily Guided Hike: Explorer or Challenge Level

Outdoor Recreation Events Guests are required to carry water and wear a close toed athletic shoe on either level of hiking. Two levels are offered daily: Explorer Hike: An excellent entry level hike. We take the time to admire the scenery with stops for photos and guide interpretations. This hike is done at a more relaxed pace over a variety of uneven desert terrain. Distances vary between 3-5 miles with an average elevation change of 350 feet. Kayenta Bike Ride

Daily Guided Hike: Endurance Level

Outdoor Recreation Events Guests are required to carry water and wear a close toed athletic shoe on hikes. Sure to test the endurance of even the fittest, this hike is intense and fast paced with infrequent breaks. Endurance Hikers must have the confidence to move quickly over uneven terrain in an unfamiliar landscape, navigate wilderness trails, steep slick rock, desert washes and rocky terrain. Distance varies between 5 - 8 miles with elevation change up to 1500 feet. Please check with the Outdoor Recreation staff before undertaking this hike if you are unsure.​ Note that meeting time and location for Endurance Hikes differ from the Explorer and Challenge hikes. Daily Guided Hike: Explorer or Challenge Level

Outdoor Recreation Events Guests are required to carry water and wear a close toed athletic shoe on either level of hiking. Two levels are offered daily: Explorer Hike: An excellent entry level hike. We take the time to admire the scenery with stops for photos and guide interpretations. This hike is done at a more relaxed pace over a variety of uneven desert terrain. Distances vary between 3-5 miles with an average elevation change of 350 feet. Challenge Hike: These hikes are for experienced hikers.  We hike at an aerobic pace designed to challenge confident hikers.  Trails vary and can include uneven desert terrain, rock scrambling, exposure, slick rock areas, sandy washes and basalt.  Be prepared to hike up to 5 miles with elevation changes.  A great attitude and commitment to the group experience are essential for an exceptional adventure.
