Trick-Or-Treat Streets: BOO-tique Window Decorating Competition

The Ogden Downtown Alliance is thrilled to host Trick-Or-Treat Streets again this year! This family-friendly Halloween celebration invited the whole community to explore downtown Ogden, enjoy festive storefronts, and collect treats from local businesses. BOO-tique Window Decorating Competition (October 16–October 30): Downtown businesses are transforming their windows, doors, and storefronts into spooky, creative, or fall-themed masterpieces! You can help choose your favorites: scan the QR codes on storefront posters to vote for the People's Choice winner. Voting runs Thursday, October 16th through Thursday, October 30th at 4 p.m. Trick-Or-Treating on Halloween (October 31, 4–8 PM): On Halloween night from 4-8 p.m. stroll downtown and visit participating businesses to pick up candy, coupons, or other Halloween goodies! Starry Starry Night Party

Join us for a special evening of stargazing and sky education! Free / All ages 6:30 - 7:15 -- NASA Solar System Ambassador Jen Jones will present a talk about meteor showers!  November is home to both the Southern Taurids and the Leonid meteor showers. Jen will discuss where meteor showers come from and why we have them. Utah Cyclocross

Join us for an adrenaline-filled day of cyclocross — the gritty, heart-pounding bike race that blends road cycling, mountain biking, and steeplechase into one wild ride. Racers will take on multiple laps of a short but challenging course featuring pavement, grass, mud, and obstacles that may require riders to dismount and carry their bikes. Holiday Electric Light Parade

Happy Holidays! Santa is planning his arrival in Ogden with the Holiday Electric Light Parade on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. The parade begins at 5:30pm and will go south on Washington Boulevard from 22nd Street to 28th Street. At the conclusion of the parade, approximately 6:30pm, Santa will turn on the lights of Christmas Village and kick-off the month-long holiday celebration with Christmas Village on display at Municipal Gardens. When the parade is finished at approximately 6:30, the official Christmas Village opening gala and fireworks show begins at the amphitheater. This year’s village and parade theme is “Home for the Holidays,” and will continue the tradition of being the kick-off to a month-long celebration at Municipal Gardens. The Christmas Village Opening Gala will feature live entertainment, parade awards, and a firework show. Ogden City’s Christmas Village illuminates downtown Ogden with its magnificent festive lights every year from the Saturday after Thanksgiving through the first weekend in January. Bundle up and come stroll through the village and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. Beginning Nov 30, Santa will greet children in his castle Mon – Fri, 6 to 9pm, and Saturdays, 5 to 9pm through Dec 23. Pictures with Santa are just $5.
