CAMP - Crafting with Nature - Ages 7-9

Community Classes in Nature Creative campers will enjoy this full day of crafting with nature. Weed 'em & Reap

Community Help restore native habitats. Join us every week to manually remove invasive species on the property.  Invasive weeds crowd out native species and impair the habitat. Volunteers should be able to walk over uneven ground, bend over for extended periods, work outdoors in a variety of conditions, and comply with the safety guidelines. Volunteers should wear closed-toe sturdy shoes, pants, hat, and sun protection. Bring plenty of water and snacks if needed. Work gloves, shovels, and trowels will be available to borrow but we encourage you to bring your own. Farmers Market Ogden 2025

Oops I Arted Summer Art Camp

Arts & Culture Bring your kids for a fun and educational 6-week Summer Semester. What: This semester-long camp/class will inspire and motivate your student(s) to be creative in new ways as they explore art through a variety of media. Students will learn how to use new tools and create projects that are unique, fun and engaging. In class we focus on the process of learning a new skill and encouraging students to discover their own unique way to create. Our Class Motto is “You Are the Artist” We use this phrase to remind students that they make the creative decisions. Weed 'em & Reap

Community Help restore native habitats. Join us every week to manually remove invasive species on the property.  Invasive weeds crowd out native species and impair the habitat. Volunteers should be able to walk over uneven ground, bend over for extended periods, work outdoors in a variety of conditions, and comply with the safety guidelines. Volunteers should wear closed-toe sturdy shoes, pants, hat, and sun protection. Bring plenty of water and snacks if needed. Work gloves, shovels, and trowels will be available to borrow but we encourage you to bring your own. Weed 'em & Reap

Community Help restore native habitats. Join us every week to manually remove invasive species on the property.  Invasive weeds crowd out native species and impair the habitat. Volunteers should be able to walk over uneven ground, bend over for extended periods, work outdoors in a variety of conditions, and comply with the safety guidelines. Volunteers should wear closed-toe sturdy shoes, pants, hat, and sun protection. Bring plenty of water and snacks if needed. Work gloves, shovels, and trowels will be available to borrow but we encourage you to bring your own. Weed 'em & Reap

Community Help restore native habitats. Join us every week to manually remove invasive species on the property.  Invasive weeds crowd out native species and impair the habitat. Volunteers should be able to walk over uneven ground, bend over for extended periods, work outdoors in a variety of conditions, and comply with the safety guidelines. Volunteers should wear closed-toe sturdy shoes, pants, hat, and sun protection. Bring plenty of water and snacks if needed. Work gloves, shovels, and trowels will be available to borrow but we encourage you to bring your own. Lindquist Family Symphony Pops Concert and Fireworks

Special Events The Lindquist Family Symphony and Pops Concert has dazzled crowds and brought the community together since 1978. Held every summer at Weber State University, against the backdrop of the stunning Wasatch Mountains, this free community celebration has found a home in Ogden thanks to John A. and Telitha E. Lindquist. Nearly 50 years later, John E. Lindquist, president of Lindquist Mortuaries and Cemeteries in Ogden, proudly continues the tradition. The event features an outdoor performance by the New American Philharmonic at the iconic Ada Lindquist Plaza at the heart of campus. The performance includes Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” with a battery of 16 cannons provided by the Cannoneers of the Wasatch. Then, set to patriotic music, spectators enjoy one of the largest fireworks displays in Utah. Food trucks and other vendors are often on hand to serve attendees. Weed 'em & Reap

Community Help restore native habitats. Join us every week to manually remove invasive species on the property.  Invasive weeds crowd out native species and impair the habitat. Volunteers should be able to walk over uneven ground, bend over for extended periods, work outdoors in a variety of conditions, and comply with the safety guidelines. Volunteers should wear closed-toe sturdy shoes, pants, hat, and sun protection. Bring plenty of water and snacks if needed. Work gloves, shovels, and trowels will be available to borrow but we encourage you to bring your own. Arts & Culture The Ogden Pioneer Days and the Eccles Art Center’s Main Galleries exhibits western-themed artists during the Ogden Pioneer Days’ “Traces of the West” art show and includes recent work with a western theme. This year’s categories include two-dimensional art, including drawing and painting, and three-dimensional art, including sculpture and high-end western gear. Local artists throughout Utah, as well as those from Arizona and Idaho, are participating. The invitational art competition will open Friday, July 4 and run throughout the month.
