Birding 101
Birding at Ogden Nature Center
Join us for a beginner-friendly Birding 101 class followed by a guided community bird walk. We will start indoors with an interactive lesson covering birding basics, what to look and listen for, and how to use binoculars.
After the class, all participants are invited to join a guided bird walk led by Wasatch Audubon, exploring Ogden Nature Center with a special focus on the Wasatch Audubon bird feeders. Whether you are brand new to birding or have years of experience, everyone is welcome.

Birding 101
Birding at Ogden Nature Center
Join us for a beginner-friendly Birding 101 class followed by a guided community bird walk. We will start indoors with an interactive lesson covering birding basics, what to look and listen for, and how to use binoculars.
After the class, all participants are invited to join a guided bird walk led by Wasatch Audubon, exploring Ogden Nature Center with a special focus on the Wasatch Audubon bird feeders. Whether you are brand new to birding or have years of experience, everyone is welcome.
Date: 4th Saturday of each month, excluding April, November, and December
Time: 9:00–11:00 am (classroom portion first up to 30 minutes, followed by the bird walk)

Do you love animals? Here is your chance to learn all about them, and even meet them up close. Spend a week at the Ogden Nature Center learning about birds, mammals and reptiles. Create your own nest box to take home and experience some animal handler training before holding a real snake! Monday-Wednesday are regular camp days 8:30am – 3:30pm. The overnight portion starts at 5:30pm on Thursday and ends at 9am on Friday.
