Ogden Nature Center

The Ogden Nature Center is a 152-acre wildlife sanctuary and education center located in the heart of Ogden, Utah. We offer over 1.5 miles of trails with an observation tower, two treehouses, bird blinds and two beautiful green buildings. We offer the best in environmental education and nature study. We are also home to a wild bird care program. We are open Mon.-Fri. 9-5 and Sat. 9-4.

Fly with the Flock Fun Run at Ogden Nature Center

Events at Ogden Nature Center Runners and families are invited to enjoy a casual, fun, trail run and pancakes at the Ogden Nature Center.  The 5K course is two laps winding through 152 acres on dirt trails. The youngest runners can participate in a free, 100-foot kids dash with tree-cookie medals for every child who participates.  Runner packets may be picked up on May 8th from 11 am until 4 pm. Day of registration starts at 6:30am. Race starts at 8:00am. Please note that walkers will not be timed for medals, but are welcome and encouraged to participate. Birding 101

Birding at Ogden Nature Center Join us for a beginner-friendly Birding 101 class followed by a guided community bird walk. We will start indoors with an interactive lesson covering birding basics, what to look and listen for, and how to use binoculars. After the class, all participants are invited to join a guided bird walk led by Wasatch Audubon, exploring Ogden Nature Center with a special focus on the Wasatch Audubon bird feeders. Whether you are brand new to birding or have years of experience, everyone is welcome. Birding 101

Birding at Ogden Nature Center Join us for a beginner-friendly Birding 101 class followed by a guided community bird walk. We will start indoors with an interactive lesson covering birding basics, what to look and listen for, and how to use binoculars. After the class, all participants are invited to join a guided bird walk led by Wasatch Audubon, exploring Ogden Nature Center with a special focus on the Wasatch Audubon bird feeders. Whether you are brand new to birding or have years of experience, everyone is welcome.
