Utah Quarter Horse Association
The UQHA is an affiliate organization of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and is dedicated to promoting and preserving the American Quarter Horse. Our members and their American Quarter Horses participate in many AQHA sponsored events such as, Racing, Showing, Versatility Ranch, and the Ride program. In addition, many members enjoy other activities with their Quarter Horses like dressage, roping, cutting, trail riding, ranching, hunting, etc.
We also sponsor open events for horses of all breeds. For example, our All Novice Show includes a full slate of open breed classes such as, Western Pleasure, Showmanship at Halter, Western Horsemanship, Trail, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation, Pole Bending and Barrel Racing.

Winter schooling horse show series. 4 total dates, starting in December 2016. Learn how to show in a relaxed environment. School your new or young horses. Come enjoy Showing and win some prizes!!! We will be giving a saddle to the high point in overall judged events and also in overall speed events. Belt buckles will be awarded as high point to each age group. Daily prizes and auction. Just a fun Showing experience for everyone who wants to show pro, for fun, school and training for next years show season, 4-H, Barrel racers, English, Western, Riening, and gaited. UAHC, established in 1952, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the Arabian, Half Arabian and Anglo-Arabian horse breeds, as well as the general betterment of the horse community in Utah.
We offer 2 rated Arabian and Half Arabian breed shows a year. One in May and one in September. These shows qualify for the Arabian Horse Association Regional and National shows.
We also offer 1 Fun shows a year; open to All Breeds of horses.
We also have an Academy program, offer various clinics, and a high point banquet for our members.
