Join OA for a weekend of rock climbing and yoga in Moab, UT. This weekend will include a multitude of climbing opportunities with the amazing scenery of Moab red rock! This trip is recommended for beginner to intermediate climbers. No lead climbing by participants is allowed.
This is a backcountry trip: Participants on this trip will sleep in tents and there will be no access to showers, running water, or other modern amenities. Trip leaders will teach participants how to dispose of waste properly by following Leave No Trace ethics.
What's Included in the Trip Fee: transportation, all meals while at camp (participants will be responsible for meals during transportation), Trip Leader instruction, and activity-specific gear (excludes personal clothing and footwear).

Join OA for some introductory canyoneering in the beautiful sandstone canyons of Southern Utah. North Wash and Robbers Roost are the home to some of the most beautiful, exciting canyons in the state. Now with two options for trip locations, this trip includes deep, twisting narrows, multiple rappels, and some thrilling downclimbs. Trip cost covers gear, instruction, transportation, and equipment. Participants should be comfortable with heights and able to hike 5 miles. Our trips are designed to give participants the building blocks to further their knowledge and skills to apply it on their own adventures.

Come participate in the Summit's Annual DYNOvember competition! Each climber may only register for and climb during one of the two qualifying heats. See schedule below. Climbers will record their sends on official paper scoresheets, each send will require a witness signature, and the top climbers will advance to the Finals round.

Mechanical advantage systems are a technical rope skill for climbers, river runners, and cayoneers looking to improve their knowledge of rope systems to haul heavy loads, for potential rescues, or fulfill their curiosity of 3:1 pulleys. This clinic will be held in a classroom setting. You can expect to learn about the types of gear needed to build mechanical advantage systems.
Registration opens 1/05/25, Clinic participants will leave the clinic with an understanding of the following:
- Understand the fundamentals of Mechanical Adnvantage
- Identify 3:1,6:1,& 9:1 MA systmes
- Build a 3:1 Mechanical Advantage system
This clinic will take place at The Hub classroom in the Student Life Center (just outside of OA) at 6:00PM.
