Sunnyside Resident Forums are an important opportunity for residents to ask questions, share feedback, and stay informed. Since the Fall 2025 Forum, several resident-raised concerns have already been resolved or are currently in progress. For example, plans are underway to add sidewalk cuts in the back parking lots to improve access for strollers and wagons. Further updates on previous concerns will be shared at the forum.

Join the Utah Museum of Fine Arts for a hands-on art activity where you’ll create your own fish rubbings and drawings inspired by the traditional Japanese art of Gyotaku. This unique printing technique began hundreds of years ago when Japanese fishermen used ink and rice paper to record the fish they caught before cameras existed.

Join us at the annual Sunnyside Emergency Preparedness Fair to learn how to be ready for life’s unexpected moments! Explore resources and practical tips for a variety of emergencies, including natural disasters, poison situations, financial challenges, mental health crises, and more.
Enjoy free food, activities, and valuable preparedness information while meeting local police, ambulance personnel, and the University’s Emergency Management team.
Leading up to the fair, we encourage residents to practice evacuating from their apartment, check their 72-hour kits, locate their nearest Emergency Assembly Point (EAP), and review their emergency plans.

Sunnyside Apartments is partnering with Pioneer Theater Company to offer a limited number of free tickets to their upcoming production of Come From Away on Saturday, April 25 at 7:30 PM at the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Eligible Sunnyside residents may find additional information about the event and request up to two tickets (one for themselves and one guest) by completing a soon-to-be-shared Ticket Request Form on Qualtrics.
Please note that free tickets are available only to current Sunnyside resident U of U students and up to one guest, and that submitting a request does not guarantee a ticket(s).
