Our trips are designed to give participants the building blocks to further their knowledge and skills to apply it on their own adventures. Join OA for a weekend rafting a beautiful whitewater stretch of the Green River! This section starts out of Flaming Gorge Reservoir where we'll see stunning red rock formations, sandy beaches, and desert mesas. This river has many exciting, beginner-friendly rapids, and this trip is appropriate for novice and experienced whitewater paddlers. Along the way, we will learn how to read whitewater, how to carry-out a multi-day raft trip using OA's boat fleet, and what makes this section of river one of the most talked about rivers in the country. Night one, we will be camping at a front-country campsite near the put-in, and night two, we will be camping along the river at a bck-country float-in site!

We offer free 15-minute testing appointments twice per month where students can get treated for HIV and STIs with the support of our professional staff.
Testing is conducted on first come first serve basis, and our capacity to see walk-ins may vary with longer wait times so we highly recommend booking an appointment to ensure you are seen that day.
Starting three days before each clinic, students can reserve a spot on Medicat. There will be (2) spots available per 15-minute block. Our maximum testing capacity during these two hour sessions is approximately 25 students.

Join Outdoor Adventures for a classic multi-sport excursion in Moab and explore the unique beauty of the desert with us! As Southern Utah begins to warm up, it is the perfect time to float the Colorado river and climb the sandstone rocks of the desert. This trip is perfect for beginners who take part in regular moderate physical activity. Trip costs include rentals, equipment, food, instruction/skills teaching from trip leaders, transportation, and all camping gear needed for the trip. Our trips are designed to give participants the building blocks to further their knowledge and skills to apply it on their own adventures. Give your (or our) retired climbing rope a new life!
Join us on this hands-on, two-hour workshop by creating a durable, one-of-a-kind belt. Participants will learn how climbing gear can be responsibly repurposed after it has been retired from climbing applications. Using retired climbing rope, belt hardware, and basic hand tools, each participant will measure, cut, assemble, and finish a custom belt to take home. No previous experience is necessary, and all materials and tools will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own retired rope or cord if they would like!

Free HIV & STI Testing Clinic

We offer free 15-minute testing appointments twice per month where students can get treated for HIV and STIs with the support of our professional staff.
Testing is conducted on first come first serve basis, and our capacity to see walk-ins may vary with longer wait times so we highly recommend booking an appointment to ensure you are seen that day.
Starting three days before each clinic, students can reserve a spot on Medicat. There will be (2) spots available per 15-minute block. Our maximum testing capacity during these two hour sessions is approximately 25 students.
Please bring the following:
1) a valid UCard to verify student status
2) and a form of ID that verifies that you are 18 or older (i.e. Driver's License, Passport, Birth Certificate)

Mechanical advantage systems are a technical rope skill for climbers, river runners, and cayoneers looking to improve their knowledge of rope systems to haul heavy loads, for potential rescues, or fulfill their curiosity of 3:1 pulleys. This clinic will be held in a classroom setting. You can expect to learn about the types of gear needed to build mechanical advantage systems.

Free HIV & STI Testing Clinic
Center for Campus Wellness
We offer free 15-minute testing appointments twice per month where students can get treated for HIV and STIs with the support of our professional staff.
Testing is conducted on first come first serve basis, and our capacity to see walk-ins may vary with longer wait times so we highly recommend booking an appointment to ensure you are seen that day.
Starting three days before each clinic, students can reserve a spot on Medicat. There will be (2) spots available per 15-minute block. Our maximum testing capacity during these two hour sessions is approximately 25 students.
Please bring the following:
1) a valid UCard to verify student status
2) and a form of ID that verifies that you are 18 or older (i.e. Driver's License, Passport, Birth Certificate)
