2026 Business Speed Pitch Competition

The Rise & Thrive Business Pitch Competition is an annual event organized by Uintah County Economic Development and the Vernal Innovation Hub to provide entrepreneurs and business start-ups with funding opportunities and local support.  ‍ The competition allows entrepreneurs to present business ideas to a panel of 5 judges. The competition focuses on the ability to deliver a Pitch that attempts to persuade the judges in favor of a new product or service. Judges will engage with contestants and score each Contestant(s) based on the pitch presentation and follow up Q/A. Judge assessments are based on the realistic development of a product or service. Throw on neon and come have fun at the Glow Motion 5k! Run, walk, jog, strollers- whatever you want! Men, women and children (10 and under) divisions. High Desert Hunter

Challenge yourself in the High Desert of Northeast Utah to hunt down targets in this desert climate and enjoy the views of Blue Mountain, Diamond Mountain, and the High Uintah Mountains that surround this area. Be sure to take a trip to the Dinosaur Museum and Dinosaur National Monument because this is what this area is known for.This hunter match will have a lot of sage brush terrain around stage areas and targets with a limited number of cedars be sure to look in all the drainages as this range has a lot of them.
