Accessibility Lunch & Learn: What do I do with all these PDFs? Inventorying and Assessing your PDF Backlog
Information Technology
In this guided workshop, you will receive tips and a shared, guided document to help you and your team take the first crucial steps toward creating strategy for dealing with your PDF backlog: inventory and assessment. It's much easier to create a long-term plan for handling the challenges posed by PDFs if you build a deeper awareness of how many you have, how they were created, and the purpose they serve. Inventorying and assessing your existing PDF backlog can also help you make informed choices about appropriate alternatives to PDFs in future workflow decisions. Please note: This is a strategy workshop, so we won't be covering how to remediate PDFs or demonstrating tools.

Movement, Engagement, & Inclusion
Learning & Teaching Collaborative
Embodied and active learning strategies are among the most underused tools in college classrooms — yet they are also among the most adaptable. Moving doesn't have to mean chaos, and it doesn't have to mean everyone doing the same thing in the same way. Done well, it means better thinking, stronger retention, and a more inclusive room. In this 30-minute practical session, we'll share ready-to-use strategies across a low to high engagement spectrum, designed so that every student can participate meaningfully, regardless of mobility, sensory difference, or physical ability. You'll leave with a flexible toolkit of techniques to try out today with any student and in any class setting.
