Native Gift Making: Wood burning

Looking for a cultural experience? Join us for Native Gift Making. In this workshop you will experience Native American wood burning, cedar weaving and beading taught by local Snohomish tribal elders Mike Evans and Karen Condo. Learn the Blue Heron Canoe Family way of "make two gift one" towards Canoe Journey and hear teachings of modern and traditional ways of native beings.  -- Don't know what those things are? We are just the space for you. In the process you will experience first hand the 8 benefits of crafting: Lowers blood pressure. Confidence and enhanced self-esteem. Increases brain activity and cognition. Enhances quality of life. Small exercises can help dexterity. Boosts empathy.  Allows further self expression and understanding. Join for 15 minutes or 2 hours, completely up to you. Projects can be completed over multiple visits and in one session. Bring your friends by for a local cultural experience.
