Join us as we explore the multiple meanings and functions of seeds across food systems and societies as both tangible biological entities and powerful cultural symbols—small in size, yet deeply influential in shaping the future of food systems and societies. Seeds are central to both agriculture and culture by carrying genetic information, adaptive capacity, supporting biodiversity, and shaping what we eat and how we grow it. Dr. Sipos has expertise in food systems and sustainability education with a background in plant biology, soil ecology, agroforestry, and community engagement. Event interval: Single day event.
