Human-Computer Interaction Conference - Wisconsin

HCIC 2025: The Future of Being Human in a Generative AI World: Principles, Methods and Education In-person, UW is a member of HCIC, a unique organization that hosts an annual workshop that attracts leading researchers in HCI in a small and collegial environment. The workshop has a relatively unique format, emphasizing more substantial presentations by more established members of the community (e.g. 40 minute presentations with a discussant, there is a rule that students participate throughout the workshop but do not give full presentations). In addition to the many benefits that faculty gain from discussions with such a group, prior faculty and student participants have described it as a great opportunity for strong doctoral students to engage with top HCI researchers (e.g. developing connections for job searches, internships, or collaborations that they felt were based in part on interactions they had with people while at HCIC). Event interval: Ongoing event. Accessibility Contact: humancomputerorg@gmail.com. Event Types: Conferences. Student Activities.
