Evans Day of Service - FamilyWorks

Evans Day of Service volunteer opportunity on Monday, May 11, 2026.  We hope you'll spend part of your day giving back and connecting with fellow Evans folks at FamilyWorks in Wallingford! We’ll be supporting their food bank by sorting donations from a recent food drive—helping ensure items are ready for distribution to the community. We'll also have the chance for a site tour.  There are about 8 spots available for a morning shift (9:30am - 12:00pm), and 8 spots available for an afternoon shift (12:45pm - 3:15pm). Sign-ups to reserve your spot can be done here, and we'll be operating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Scott or I will reach out to confirm your spot and time with a calendar invite and more details about the day. Since spots are limited, and the work needing to be done is very real, please only sign-up if you can attend basically all of a shift. The address for FamilyWorks is 1501 N 45th St. and while Wallingford is very close to the U-District, you should plan for about 15-30 mins. commute… Event interval: Single day event.
