A Conversation with Paola Ramos

What do our votes—and our food—tell us about the future?  On October 14, Emmy Award-winning journalist Paola Ramos joins UW political scientist Sophia Jordán Wallace for a lively conversation about Latino political power, shifting identities, and the voters reshaping American elections. Then, on October 26, plant geneticist Pamela Ronald asks a question that affects us all: What feeds us? Drawing on her discovery of flood-tolerant rice, Ronald explores how science can help crops withstand climate change and build a more resilient food system.  Join us at Town Hall Seattle for two urgent, thought-provoking events.
