Databricks x MSDS Community Workshop and Hackathon
Spend a day diving into data, collaboration, and creativity! Kick things off with hands-on workshops designed to boost your skills and confidence with the Databricks platform. Then put that knowledge to the test as you join forces with fellow MSDS students in a fast-paced hackathon tackling real world challenges. Work in small teams, get guidance from Databricks employees (including MSDS 2024 grad Harshit Rai), and share your hacks in a friendly showcase. And yes, we will keep you fed throughout the event.

Friendsgiving Potluck
People in the US who do not celebrate Thanksgiving with their families often celebrate "Friendsgiving" in late November with friends. MSDS Friendsgiving is a late November tradition where students share their favorite autumn holidays. Bring a dish you associate with special occasions and join MSDS students from all cohorts to share food, play games, and celebrate together.
