AI@UW Launch with Guest Speaker José Antonio Bowen

Join the University of Washington community for the official launch of AI@UW, a full-day, in-person (only) event exploring how artificial intelligence is shaping teaching, learning, and research work across the University. Hyak, Tillicum, and Kopah Monthly Maintenance

Between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month, portions of Hyak Supercomputer and Kopah Storage are offline for up to eight hours monthly for scheduled maintenance if the work requires it (e.g. security updates, system upgrades). This work typically includes the Klone login node, so any established SSH/screen/tmux sessions on Klone will be closed at the beginning of the maintenance, and jobs whose ‘--time' limit overlaps with 9am on maintenance day will blocked from starting until after maintenance is complete.  Subscribe to our mailing list to receive email reminders about monthly maintenance, unplanned downtime, and announcements of special events. Hyak, Tillicum, and Kopah Monthly Maintenance

Between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month, portions of Hyak Supercomputer and Kopah Storage are offline for up to eight hours monthly for scheduled maintenance if the work requires it (e.g. security updates, system upgrades). This work typically includes the Klone login node, so any established SSH/screen/tmux sessions on Klone will be closed at the beginning of the maintenance, and jobs whose ‘--time' limit overlaps with 9am on maintenance day will blocked from starting until after maintenance is complete.  Subscribe to our mailing list to receive email reminders about monthly maintenance, unplanned downtime, and announcements of special events.
