Talk Title: The UCSF Treat Acute HIV Study
Sulggi Lee, MD PhD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and a faculty member in the Division of HIV, Infectious Diseases, and Global Medicine at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. After graduating from Stanford University for her undergraduate training, she went on to receive an M.D./Ph.D. at the University of Southern California, followed by residency in internal medicine at Stanford Hospital and Clinics and infectious diseases fellowship training at UCSF. She is Co-PI of the UCSF SCOPE HIV cohort which includes over 2,500+ HIV+ participants, PI of the UCSF Acute HIV study (individuals diagnosed <100 days of infection), PI of the COVID-19 Host Immune Response Pathogenesis…

Celebration of Life - King Holmes
Please join us in Seattle on Monday, June 16, 2025, to celebrate the life of King Holmes. All of King’s professional colleagues, friends, and members of the public who wish to honor King and his legacy are welcome to attend. Two members of King’s family and a few of King’s closest colleagues will share some of their memories of this remarkable man, and speak to King’s professional accomplishments, mentorship, and his extraordinary contributions to sexually transmitted infection and HIV research, prevention, and care and his impacts on Global Health. The celebration will be held on the University of Washington campus in Kane Hall (Roethke Auditorium, Room 130), from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. A reception will follow until about 7:00pm.
