TidyUP Your Canvas Files

Want to jump start your Canvas courses' accessibility journey but not sure where or how to start? Join us as we highlight how to use a great tool available to all CoE faculty and staff in Canvas, TidyUp! This handy course scanning tool identifies and can delete unused files from your Canvas course with ease while also offering the ability to provide a comprehensive look at all of the content in your course – including files, folders and Canvas content. Now that you've TidyUP'd your Canvas course files, what needs your attention to make accessible?  Join us as we highlight how to use a great tool available to all CoE faculty and staff in Canvas, Ally Accessibility Report! Your QuickStart to Accessible Home Pages in Canvas

REGISTRATION REQUIRED When you think about your Canvas course site structure, the Home Page is the first thing to consider as it's where all your students will go when accessing your course. Your home page can provide real time updates on your course via Announcements, provide commonly used links to content, and set the stage for your student's digital experience. Join us as we dive into using DesignPlus to create an accessible digital homepage including how to use the QuickStart Wizard to add a template, add custom images to set the tone for either the season or your course topic, and create a module list that will automagically update for you as you work on building out content in your modules.
