This is the last Dempsey Startup Info Session held virtually.
The Dempsey Startup Competition provides a real-world experience for student entrepreneurs, promoting student ideas and new venture creation to the entrepreneurial community. Participating in the Dempsey Startup gives students practice in the dynamics of venture creation by developing an idea, putting together a founding team, writing a business plan, and presenting to investors.
In this information session, we will review the timeline, structure and rules of the Competition, and share how to recruit additional teammates or find a team to join!

Tax LL.M. Information Session
During this information session, prospective students will learn about the UW School of Law's Tax Law LL.M, program. You will have a chance to meet with program faculty and staff and ask questions about the program and the application process.
Since its inception in 1995, the Tax Law LL.M. program has been dedicated to providing students in-depth instruction and guidance in technical and practical aspects of tax law. Our program teaches the necessary skills for innovative tax planning in all areas — federal, state and local, international and estate, gift and trust tax. Our practice-oriented curriculum accommodates both traditional students and working professionals. Most classes are offered in the late afternoon or early evening. Tax LL.M. Information Session
During this information session, prospective students will learn about the UW School of Law's Tax Law LL.M, program. You will have a chance to meet with program faculty and staff and ask questions about the program and the application process.
Since its inception in 1995, the Tax Law LL.M. program has been dedicated to providing students in-depth instruction and guidance in technical and practical aspects of tax law. Our program teaches the necessary skills for innovative tax planning in all areas — federal, state and local, international and estate, gift and trust tax. Our practice-oriented curriculum accommodates both traditional students and working professionals. Most classes are offered in the late afternoon or early evening. Students may apply for admission to any quarter and students may enroll on either a full-time or part-time basis.
