Human Centered Design & Engineering Research Showcase
The HCDE Research Showcase highlights ongoing work by faculty, research scientists, postdocs, PhD students, and undergraduates. The event is designed to build community around HCDE research and create space for conversation across our community of students, alumni, friends, and the broader UW community.
Attendees will explore posters and interactive project demos and have the opportunity to speak directly with researchers across HCDE’s research clusters and topic areas.

Are you a current junior who is trying to decide which 400-level HCDE electives to take next year? Alternatively, are you a current senior who has already taken some of those HCDE electives and who is willing to share what you’ve learned? Join the HCDE BS peer advisers for the HCDE Electives Social, a casual space to learn more about upcoming courses, hear from students who’ve taken them, and get your questions answered. This is your chance to learn more about our HCDE 400-level elective offerings before Autumn registration and swap notes with fellow students in a laid-back setting. Whether you're curious about new subjects or seeking advice on your elective choices, this event is for you.
