NOTICE: The federal government hasn’t passed spending legislation to keep the government open. That means DSHS Mobile Office outreach events have been canceled effective Nov. 4. Until federal funding is restored, DSHS Mobile Office outreach services will remain closed.
Burien Library Resource Days will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. until the end of the year and will be offering direct connections to local and state resources.. Community members in need of support can get connected to services and resources that can help, including:
Residents can access assistance programs, transportation support, health resources, and social services through partnerships with local organizations, including the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Mobile Office.

Attorneys will provide free general consultations in various areas of law, depending on attorney availability, including immigration, family law, auto accidents, personal injury, workers’ rights/wage claims, and criminal law. Bilingual attorneys and interpreters will be available.
Space is limited. Sign up for consultations is on a first-come, first-served basis in-person. The demand for legal advice is far greater than our capacity at the legal clinics. There is no guarantee you will be seen due to the volume of individuals who attend the clinic and the specific legal matter you have. If we do not have an attorney present to address the topic of your legal matter then you may not be seen.

Join us for a community resource fair offering support and connections to essential services.
Social service providers will help attendees access healthcare, education, legal clinics, and more. Free phones for eligible state program participants (EBT, Medicaid, SSI, veterans) and enrollment assistance for Medicaid/Medicare will be available. Learn about ORCA cards, transportation resources, TB information, and local dental/medical clinics. Clothing assistance will also be offered. No registration required.
