HSPop Exhibiting at the GEG Symposium Grad Fair
The UW Department of Health Systems and Population Health will have a table to represent our graduate programs at the Gabriel E. Gallardo Research, Student Leadership & Advocacy Symposium Graduate School Fair.
Starting in 1992, the UW Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity began hosting a Pacific Northwest Undergraduate Research Conference. In 2021, the GEG Symposium was launched to honor the legacy of Dr. Gabriel E. Gallardo, who passed away in 2020 after a lifetime of service to educational equity, particularly on behalf of TRIO McNair, TRIO-SSS, and CAMP students.
This symposium provides a fantastic opportunity for undergraduate researchers to meet other scholars and share their research in a unique, exciting, and supportive environment. For all undergraduates, regardless of research participation, it is a chance to learn about the power of student research, leadership, and advocacy. It is also an opportunity for staff members to spend time networking with and learning alongside colleagues.
