UA Reads Book Swap

Bring a book, take a book — join fellow Advancement readers at the UA Reads Book Swap!    Location: UW Tower Visitor’s Dining Room (Mezannine Level)  How it works:  Bring at least one pre-loved book you’ve read or are ready to pass along. Any genre is welcome! Please bring books that are in good condition (something you’d feel good lending to a friend).  , Browse freely and take home the same number of books you brought.  , Spend time discussing all things bookish, share recommendations and meet people who love reading as much as you do.  , Candy and refreshments will be available. You’re welcome to bring your lunch or pick something up at the Tower Café while you browse. Microwaves are available for use on the Mezannine Level.  All books left at the end of the event will help us build a UA Reads mobile book cart for our community of readers. Safe, Secure and Supported Part I (March 30)

The People and Culture team is offering a spring 2026 session of Safe, Secure and Supported Training Part I: Individual Skill Development on March 30, 2026.   Safe, Secure and Supported Training Part I is designed to help us collectively build a workplace where everyone feels respected, safe, and supported. This session will offer practical strategies to navigate difficult interactions with care and confidence, while strengthening a culture of trust and accountability. Part II will be provided in  2027.       Registration Required Please register for the 90-minute training session on the Advancement Learning Platform (ALP). Training Content Notice The content of this training will include discussing identity-based harm and sexual harassment. The trainer will allude to other forms of violence but will not discuss them in detail.
