“Hemostatic Resuscitation in the OR: Optimizing Laboratory Support During Massive Hemorrhage”

Learning Objectives – At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees should be able to: Describe the mechanisms of coagulopathy during massive hemorrhage. , Explain the design and optimal use of the Emergency Hemorrhage Panel (EHP) to guide targeted transfusion during massive hemorrhage. , Describe viscoelastic testing (VET) and compare its evidence base with conventional coagulation testing (CCT) in the management of bleeding.
