CREATE Accessibility Seminar Fall 2025 The CREATE Accessibility Seminar is back this fall with an Art X Accessibility theme. Each week, participants will explore the work of disabled artists, scholars, and technologists to understand how access intersects with different art forms and modalities. The seminar will be largely discussion-based, with occasional guest speakers, and is designed to welcome a wide range of participants—from budding researchers to experienced artists. Devva’s Room series: Accessibility from academia to everyone's home

Are you curious about disability history? Wonder why people feel disability pride? This series of events honors Devva Kasnitz's dream to expand disability studies from the ivory tower of academia to the homes of everyday people. On November 12, Elaine Gerber presents Reproductive Justice. Leroy Moore presents 10 Principles of Disability Justice. For people of all ages, each evening includes several parts: learning about disabilities studies and the history of disability, with time for questions, networking, and fun. ADOS-2 Introductory Clinical Workshop February 2, 2026 – February 3, 2026 9:00 AM-4:30 PMPT University of Washington Seattle, WA 98195 The ADOS-2 Introductory/Clinical Workshop is a two-day introductory training on how to administer and score ADOS-2 modules 1-4 and a prerequisite for the Advanced Research Workshop and Toddler Module Workshop. Two live demonstrations and in-depth coding discussions will be provided at the training. At the end of the workshop participants will be provided with training videos and protocols to aid further practice. Prerequisites: This training is designed for providers with at least a Master's level degree and in a professional field related to autism spectrum disorder (e.g. psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physicians, licensed marriage & family therapists, licensed mental health counselors, teachers). ADOS-2 Toddler Module Workshop February 4, 2026 9:00 AM-4:30 PMPT University of Washington Seattle, WA 98195 The ADOS-2 Toddler Module Workshop reviews the  administration, scoring, and coding guidelines in a lecture, demonstration, and group discussion format. This workshop is appropriate for researchers and clinicians who have completed the Introductory Clinical Workshop on Modules 1–4  and are seeking further training for developing clinical competence  using the ADOS-2 with toddlers. The workshop is also appropriate for  professionals who have experience in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and  formal testing, such as occupational therapists, speech pathologists,  physicians, and psychologists.
