Tax LL.M. Information Session
Graduate Programs
During this information session, prospective students will learn about the UW School of Law's Tax Law LL.M, program. You will have a chance to meet with program faculty and staff and ask questions about the program and the application process.
Since its inception in 1995, the Tax Law LL.M. program has been dedicated to providing students in-depth instruction and guidance in technical and practical aspects of tax law. Our program teaches the necessary skills for innovative tax planning in all areas — federal, state and local, international and estate, gift and trust tax. Our practice-oriented curriculum accommodates both traditional students and working professionals. Most classes are offered in the late afternoon or early evening. Students may apply for admission to any quarter and students may enroll on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Tech Policy Lab: Distinguished Lecture with Alondra Nelson
The Tech Policy Lab is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting Alondra Nelson for our Distinguished Lecture the evening of Thursday, April 3rd on the UW campus. Don't forget to RSVP early and reserve your seat!
Alondra Nelson, a renowned scholar and author, is the Harold F. Linder Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study, where she leads the Science, Technology, and Social Values Lab. Author of The Social Life of DNA, she served as Deputy Assistant to President Biden and Acting Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where her work advanced responsible technological development, scientific integrity, and public access to taxpayer-funded research.
In 2023, she was named to the inaugural TIME100 list of the most influential people in artificial intelligence and recognized by Nature as one of the “Ten People Who Shaped Science.” Dr. Nelson also advises governments and global organizations and is a distinguished member of leading scientific and policy academies.
