The Great ShakeOut
Join UW Tacoma for the Great Washington ShakeOut, an all-campus earthquake preparedness drill. Participants will practice earthquake safety procedures and receive test UW Alert messages by text and email, along with a test of the campus outdoor alert system. Whether you're on campus or elsewhere when the drill begins, we encourage all students and employees to take part and strengthen our community's readiness for an emergency.
