Summer Accessibility POP Session 3: Simple Tables in Digital Documents (NEW!)

Today we're focusing on an important Accessibility Skill: Simple Tables. Our working meetings will have the same structure each time: 15-20 minutes to learn; 30 minutes to practice; 5-10 to set a goal. You'll leave with 30 minutes of work accomplished! This will be a virtual event taking place on Zoom and captions will be enabled. This event is intended to be inclusive and accessible. Webinar: Supporting Students with Disabilities in Computing Research

This webinar will focus on practical strategies and recommendations for creating more inclusive research opportunities for students with disabilities. Since the fall of 2024, the AccessUR2PhD program has engaged with undergraduates, grad students, and faculty in computing fields via mentoring circles, focus groups, and discussions to learn more about the experiences of students with disabilities in research. In this webinar, we’ll share the strategies that students and mentors identified as most effective in supporting students with disabilities on research and graduate school pathways.   The University of Washington is committed to providing access and accommodations in its services, programs, activities, and events.
