Zumba with Karen Cornelio

Zumba with Karen Cornelio 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Thursdays  Zumba takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and world rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. You’ll need some room to get down, supportive shoes, water nearby, and a towel. Karen has been a licensed Zumba Instructor since 2013 and with UW Recreation at IMA since 2016. She also has a career as an engineering consultant, so virtual fitness is strangely familiar for her. She is crazy about music from all over the world and loves to take you on a trip to as many countries as possible through music and movement. While the choreography is easy to master, there are layers for additional intensity… Event interval: Event Types: Not Specified. Thursday, August 25, 2022, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Thursday, September 15, 2022, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
