Puget Sound Programming Competition

The Puget Sound Programming Competition (PSPC) is hosted by the School of Engineering and Technology at the University of Washington Tacoma. The PSPC is held twice a year, typically in the winter and spring quarters. Participants are welcome from all Washington area universities, colleges, and high schools. Teams of three students, sharing a single computer, compete to solve as many programming problems as they can in a four hour period. Problems range in difficulty from easier problems that all teams should be able to solve to problems that will present a challenge for University juniors and seniors. The goal of the competition is a friendly and educational extracurricular experience that will facilitate networking and community building among Washington area students and schools. SET Engineering Design Showcase

Engineering students have been working closely with local industry partners to design and build novel solutions to real-world, multidisciplinary challenges. SET Hooding Ceremonies

The presentation of the academic hood to MSCSS, MSECE, Ph.D. in CSS degree candidates is a special moment for the candidate and the faculty of their academic program.
